NailStudio ("we," "us," "our") operates nailstudiodesign.com (the "Site"). This policy explains what information we collect when you use the Site — including the NailMatch quiz and the AI Try-On design studio — and how it's used.

1. Information You Provide

Photos you upload: a reference nail-design image and/or a photo of your hand, used solely to generate your AI nail try-on preview.
Quiz answers: your selections in the NailMatch quiz (skin tone, style preferences, etc.), used to recommend nail designs.
Contact information: if you email us or (in the future) create an account, we collect what you provide — e.g. your email address.

2. How Photos Are Processed

To generate an AI try-on image, your uploaded hand photo and reference design are sent to our processing pipeline, which uses Midjourney to generate the result.

Important: as part of this process, uploaded images are hosted temporarily on third-party image-hosting services (such as ImgBB and Catbox.moe) so they can be retrieved by our AI pipeline. Images hosted this way are reachable by anyone who has the exact image link, similar to an unlisted (not indexed or searchable) file. Please don't upload photos containing identifying information you'd like to keep private, such as visible faces, documents, or surroundings.

3. Cookies & Advertising

We may use cookies and similar technologies for basic site functionality, analytics, and — as we grow — advertising (for example, Google or Meta ad pixels) to measure how our campaigns perform. You can control cookies through your browser settings. If we run ads or use analytics tools, we'll update this section to name them specifically.

4. Affiliate Links

Some pages on the Site may in the future contain affiliate links to nail-care products. If you click one and make a purchase, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Any affiliate content will be clearly labeled as such.

5. How We Use Information

To generate your quiz results and AI try-on images.
To operate, maintain, and improve the Site.
To respond to support requests you send us.
To measure aggregate usage and advertising performance.

6. Sharing

We don't sell your personal information. We share images and data only with the service providers needed to generate your results (image hosting and AI generation providers described above), or when required by law.

7. Data Retention & Deletion

Your hand photo, reference image, and quiz answers are stored locally in your browser (so your session survives a page refresh) and are removed when you clear them in the app or clear your browser storage. Images uploaded to third-party hosts for AI processing may persist on those services independently of the Site; contact us at the email below and we'll help you request removal.

8. Children's Privacy

The Site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

9. Your Choices

You can clear your uploaded images at any time using the "Clear" controls in the Design Studio, or by clearing your browser's site data. To request access to, or deletion of, any information we hold about you, email us below.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the Site evolves (for example, when we add advertising, affiliate products, or user accounts). We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do.
